As a kid, I tossed my favourite hula-hoop into the big tree in my backyard, where it remained for several years, its colour fading and circular shape withering. I'd changed a lot in that time too. My childhood innocence faded, aided by the constant reminders from my peers of just how worthless and ugly and fat I was. The series by Stephenie Meyer has become a best seller and has even been made into a movie…Yes, the "it" thing right now just makes me weep for what has become of the world of literature. This is just a rambling...no real coherent structure, just word vomit essentially. I felt like putting some of my musings down. To take the memories of a person away from them is truly a terrible thing. Yes, there are some memories that the person might want to forgot, but for each one of those there are thousands that they want...no, need to have.
